BISU TV Station, an important
medium of the New Center and founded in July 2002, began its telecasting
officially on October 22, 2003. The Station is as its work to collect,
produce and telecast the news on the campus and provide the media
outside with information about the University. With the objective
of spotlighting the hot issues on campus, facilitating the teaching
and scientific research, enriching the campus life and constructing
the campus culture the TV Station is engaged in propagating the Party's
policies, making the priorities of the work of the University known
to the school public, offering consultant services, tightening the
links between teachers and students and building up a favorable image
of BISU. The Station also provides opportunities of study and practice
for the students who are interested in TV art. It has four major programs:
News of BISU - reporting currents news and big
events on the campus; Special Report providing deep analysis of various
special topics of the campus; Window to the Foreign Land - introducing
the foreign politics, economics, cultures, social customs, movies,
etc.; and Entertainment telecasting songs, performances and others,
all this is to add much color to the campus life.
